Meet Dr. Nugent
Betty F. Nugent, EdD, is an educator with more than 30 years of experience as a teacher, grant writer, special projects coordinator, and administrator. At the university level she has served as a supervisor of student teachers and professor of various educational methods courses. Dr. Nugent graduated from Southern Adventist University, Andrews University, and Walden University. She has authored several articles in educational journals. Dr. Nugent owns and operates Above and Beyond Educational Encounters and is an Adjunct Professor for Southern Adventist University.
Who we Serve
Above and Beyond Educational Encounters (ABEE) provides teacher training and ongoing classroom support. Led by Founder and CEO Dr. Betty F. Nugent, we research, practice, and share best teaching practices with educators affiliated with ABEE. Through workshops, in-service activities, virtual professional development, and in-class support, ABEE affiliates receive personalized guidance to help transform their schools and classrooms into premier learning spaces for the next generation of citizens.
